Autumn Fields
May 2017
Autumn Fields is the second in the Hooked on a Feeling series of quilts made from Japanese fabrics.
It is hand-quilted with various sized circles randomly scattered. I used Valdani variegated thread. The stitches are reminiscent of Sashiko.
It has an infinity edge binding (binding is folded completely to the back so no binding shows on the front) made of the background colour.
The batting is wool.
I gave this quit to one of my sisters, Sara Middleton. It gets cold in Temagami.
