Henge quilts

Organically Grown is the first in the  Hooked on a Feeling  series of designs that are emerging from the colours and textures of the Japanese woven fabrics I am using more and more these days. 

​

The quilts in this series often have intentionally rough edged applique that will fray and thread. This adds texture and interest to the quilt.

 

It is 108" x 108" and is hand-quilted with a variety of colours of Pearl cotton #8.   Each section is hand-quilted based on the fabric and shapes in the section.

It has an infinity edge binding (binding is folded completely to the back so no binding shows on the front) made of the background colour.  

 

The batting is wool.
